Challenge #1
International fund management firm with broad client base needs to raise its profile and build relationships with regional clients. Solution
Dashwood Events researched and prepared a detailed imaginative event schedule, this encompassed details of venues such as Great John Street, Manchester, Fisherman’s Lodge, Newcastle, One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow, New Hall, Sutton Coldfield. These venues are suitable for a mix of clients in [the] regional locations. The schedule encompassed a time for effective event marketing and communications and is split quarterly Q1 through to Q4 for efficient budget control. Benefit to the client is that we know the venues - the leg work is already done, the schedule time line allows the client to follow a straightforward event marketing and communication campaign which ultimately means the right people attend. This is crucial for the client especially with regards to Return on Investment for event budgeting. |

Challenge #2
London publishing house requires assistance with educational forums for trustees. Solution
Dashwood Events worked alongside the event team managing ten sponsors for the forum taking place in Manchester. This included providing detailed information on the venue, regular communication and updates on deadlines with regards to presentations, delivery of collateral to the venue and provided a single point of contact for the sponsors. The benefit to the client was that all sponsors were relaxed and informed prior to and at the event. They were therefore open to negotiations with regards to additional sponsorship for alternative events. |

Challenge #3
London based fund manager needs to entertain investment consultants with an event which will educate as well as entertain. Solution
Dashwood Events considered the geographical location of these investment consultants and put together an innovative and challenging one day event at Mercedes Benz World – this was one of the first events held at MB World and at a time when few had heard of the concept. Benefit to the client – first class event at a new location as is the case with most events – a new concept is a big draw. |

London based fund manager needs to entertain senior investment consultants in a London location, easy to get to that would provide a relaxed environment for relationship building but also provide value for money. Solution
Dashwood Events again researched the market, considered the audience and their likely desires. A wine tasting with a Sommelier followed by a first class dinner in a private room was arranged to budget with outstanding results. |

Challenge #5
Highly successful fund management company is opening office in Scotland and wishes to hold a cocktail party for 300 to celebrate and raise profile in market. Solution
Dashwood Events, having excellent knowledge of the region, provided its recommendation with regards to the venue, engaged caterers, florist and AV providers etc. Having undertaken site visits with the client and introduced all the providers, we handed the event over to the client to manage themselves, very successfully. |
